4/26/2013 – OKC, OK — JohnTV’s own Video Vigilante Brian Bates has a new video that once again spotlights the graphic reality of street prostitution in south Oklahoma City.
Its been an interesting week prostitution-wise in OKC.
Earlier this week Oklahoma City Vice conducted a successful street and Internet prostitution sting. On Wednesday Bates attended a performance of VOICE: The Real Story of Prostituted Women on the OU campus and afterwards participated in the panel discussion along with other area trafficking professionals.
Bates will be attending another performance of VOICED at Tinker Air Force Base this afternoon.
Then yesterday Bates taped another busted ‘John.’ That encounter highlighted the need for local organizations to provide more outreach to the women in our community that feel they have no other option than to sell themselves.
Watch the video below as the ‘John’ picks up this young woman who appears to be addicted to drugs and was turning tricks in order to get a hotel room for the night and was scheduled to be at D.H.S. only minutes later to qualify for food stamps.
A copy of this video has been turned over to police in hopes they will identify the ‘John’ and file criminal charges.
